I'm excited and cannot wait to be there. Go in as empty minded as possible. I saw their first concert ever at Castlefest in 2017, where their Lifa album is from. I knew a couple of songs, but didn't know what to expect haha, completely blown away by how good it was. Definitely best concert of the festival that year.

Heilung performed to a sold-out audience at The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on September 27, 2022. Their first tour in the beginning of 2020 sold out in days, so it makes sense that this tour was brought to larger amphitheaters. Their style of folk music, their fascinating visuals and captivating rituals make their concert a must-see event.

These thoughts bubbled to the surface as I reflected on the performance of Heilung I was lucky enough to witness in Seattle on the night of September 20th. On the one hand, the intense primal attraction of the show was a vivid reminder that "primitive man" still dwells within us. On the other hand, it was a testament to the willed.
